Love Vintage? Love Books? Introducing Vintage Dictionary Hair Pins!

I'm starting to upload some of the Christmas goodies online (finally!) Let's hope the good light continues to hold tomorrow so I can get a few more things photographed! Building on the success of my vintage dictionary earrings, which you can see here, these are the vintage dictionary hair pins!Vintage Dictionary Bobby Hair Pins - WishDictionary page replicas from a vintage dictionary are hand antiqued and artificially aged before bonding to a colorful wooden backing and varnished with protective gloss. These are crafted entirely by hand in a time intensive 13 step process, but they look so cool when they are done!
Vintage Dictionary Bobby Hair Pins - DreamerI got two pairs, "Mermaid" and "Wish" uploaded to Etsy today. I have more pairs to get up (children and weather permitting). Weird that almost all the ones I picked out for photographing today are blue.
Vintage Dictionary Bobby Hair Pins - MermaidAh, there's a red pair! I need to rephotograph these though. Most of the shots had my "helpful" photo assistant cat in them :)

It's almost holiday shipping time! The last few years, I have included special freebies in all Christmas/Holiday orders. Last year it was the pair of hand-hammered copper earrings seen in this post. I'm wondering what to do for this year. I'm thinking ..... 1)candy or edible goodies or ... 2)free earrings or ... 3)mystery freebie or maybe (if my supplies come in on time).... 4)little crocheted flower brooch. If you were to buy from me this Christmas, what would you want to find in your package????

Those hair pins are the coolest. I'd want to find either free earrings or a brooch. Guess what? My art shows went well! May your holiday sales be unprecedented, friend:)

Those are absolutely gorgeous! If only I wore pretty pins in my hair. My hair is so fine they slide out.

Anything handmade would be lovely though I wouldn't say no to a pretty crocheted flower brooch =)
