Yes, my son has joined the 10+ million people in the world who play World of Warcraft. If you don't know what that is, it's a massive multiplayer online role-playing game by Blizzard Entertainment. A huge shared world environment you adventure in with your avatar. To keep my son's hands warm this winter while he plays online, I made him this cool pair of handwarmers. His fingers are free to keyboard, but his hands stay toasty! I love the color shifting in this yarn. The yarn is half wool and half acrylic so the finished handwarmers are both warm and washer friendly. My Ravely page for the handwarmers with all the knitty details is here.

handwarmers are so useful; especially when there's a thumb "ring" to hold them in place. yours are beautiful.
Merry Christmas from
Thistle Cove Farm.
I made my husband a pair of fingerless gloves for that very reason. He's in the office, which is cod, and I'm able to play from the warm kitchen. :)
These handwarmers really look WoW.
One of my first knitting projects was a pair of handwarmers because my fingers can get so cold when sitting at the computer. Especially at university with all the air conditioning at the computer science department.
I played WoW only at my boyfriend's computer when I had to wait. Managed to level a Nightelf Druid to level 72. Since christmas, I am exploring planets as bf moved on to Star Wars - The old Republic. Perhaps I should make new handwarmers which are a little bit more Star Wars style?
Thank you for posting this. It’s exactly what I was looking for!
