Indie Spotlight: Mohop Shoes

I recently had the pleasure of receiving a pair of handmade wooden shoes by Mohop. If you haven't seen these, they are incredible wooden sandals that you can customize with your choice of strap material and then wrap the straps however best suits your fashion sense.

Here are my pair that I purchased a black satin ribbon for and then added my own hand crocheted rosettes. I put the rosettes on snaps so I can change out the flowers for other colors - I already made a set of yellow ones too! I always wear sandals with jeans so this is perfect for me. The rosettes show at the toes and can match my accessories. It's winter and icy cold outside right now, but I can't wait for Spring so I can wear these around town. And yes, I confess, I have been wearing them around the house. They are so cool, how can you not want to wear them right away? And are they comfortable? Absolutely!

I have two pairs of her shoes and I love the flower idea!! I might copy your idea!! If you don't mind!! Except I don't know how to crochet, so I will probably just go to Jo-Ann Fabrics and look!! Great idea!
