It's Spring Break here! The kids and I are spending the week having some fabulous adventures! We've been playing games, reading books, and hanging out here:Is this park not fabulous? Look at the tree on the right. It's one of several that has got these weird, twisty roots all above ground. The kids are loving climbing these and imagining their fantastical root structures populated by Tolkienesque goblins and faeries! :)
See you next week when school resumes!

Gorgeous park! It definitely looks like a fairytale/fantasy place. One I would love to explore.
I hope you have fun with your spring break =)
Definitely a Tolkien wood! Enjoy your spring break . . .

Have a happy happy... everything! I do love that tree on the right, that just being born from the ground tree, that tree eating its own roots... whispering secrets to the earth... oh yes, all sorts of adventures here in this lovely place.
Your Friend in Athens.
Hope you had a wonderful week...looks like a wondrous park!
I so want to re-read The Hobbit now! Hope you had a wonderful time 'playing' with the kids!
Oh Heather what memories can be made in the incredible beauty and mystery of that forest! Just peeking in to see what beautful things you have been up to!
Blessings!
It looks like a scene from a fantasy movie, a path that leads to whimsy and imagination.
