What Color Tulips Did I Plant? & OWOH Winner!

The tulips have just started shooting up all over .. which means Spring is here! I can't recall exactly what color I planted here by the front door, so it will be a lovely surprise when they finally burst forth into flower. Hmmmm....was it the purple? The red? Or the red and white candy-stripe? Sometimes a little mystery is fun!!

Alas, the Japanese grocery store didn't have any cute bento boxes (see prior post)... but my lovely bloggie friend Sugar Bear brought my attention to this store. They not only have bento boxes in many cute designs, but all the cooking gear and accessories to make the artistic bento lunches too.

The One World One Heart Giveaway world event is now over. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and entered my giveaway!! It was so wonderful to ride the magic carpet and meet up with old friends again and make lovely new ones.

Without further ado .. using ye olde random number generator, the winner of a crochet pattern of their choice is:

Tara at Sew Gorgeous!!!

Congrats to Tara and I hope everyone had a wonderful time in blogland with the OWOH!

I simply LOVE tulips!!!! I wish they would grow here but alas I live too far north in Australia. I do remember when I was in Melbourne one time, and my parents (I was like 5) took me to see a tulip farm. It was spectacular!!! I also love daffodils!
Actually, daffodils are my favourite flower! And don't get me started on native Aus plants!

Oooh ! tulips, I love them ! It's still randomly snowing around these parts, so we'll have to wait a bit more to enjoy the blossoming of Spring, but I have good hopes it's not gonna be too long.

(I also wanted to thank you so, so much for the sweet comment you left on my blog. I do believe handmade has that special added value that says something...anyway your comment warmed my little heart, so I take the opportunity to thank you here !)

Wonderful day to you !
