Cute Bento Boxes

Art isn't just something you can wear or decorate your house can also be something you can eat. For the past few weeks I've been following several blogs that showcase the *cutest* bento boxes! Now that both my children are old enough for grade school, I've been dying to make them cute bento boxes to take for lunch! Each lunch is like a tiny miniature work of art ... that you can eat. Just adorable.Cute little children's penguin bento box lunch box

Wanna see more bento boxes? Check out these two blogs I'm just enthralled with: Hapa Bento and Happy Little Bento.

I'm hoping to hit the big Japanese Grocery store about 45 minutes north of me in a week or two to look for some cute little bento boxes. If I do find some, I also plan on ordering this inspirational to make and inspirational cute kawaii bento box lunchesand some metal shape cutters for stamping food out in cute shapes. I'm hoping I can even get my two little guys to try some new foods by making them look like cute little ninjas and creatures!

If you haven't entered the One World One Heart Giveaway yet, there is still time. Just scroll on down to the next post and enter!

I adore Bento boxes! My daughter is only 10 months but I can't wait to be able to create some of these fun boxes - though I think it will have to be a special treat - don't think I could constantly keep up with it all! This is a great site that sells some supplies. She is a Canadian living in Japan. Share the goodies you find at your Japanese grocery!

I was looking at that exact same book online today!! I've also had Bento on my mind. I don't have small children that would appreciate it but I sure would! LOL
